Tonight: make your own whip at Babeland

Flat tires to floggers, tomorrow at Babeland

Upcycled tire or black whip? Or both?

When a sex shop advertises a DIY event, it’s got to pique your curiosity. Especially when bike tires are involved. Tonight, October 21, Babeland is hosting Kinky Crafts: DIY Floggers, an evening of turning used bicycle tires into quite-usable whips. Don’t bring your rusty spokes and chains—they’ll give you an an old tire, and you leave with your very own flogger in hand. Put it to use in a clever costume (Mistress Sarah Palin?) or consider broadening your horizons in other ways. Event is 7 p.m., $5 (cash) for materials. More info here.

Babeland, 462 Bergen St., between Flatbush Ave. and Fifth Ave., 718-638-3820.
