New RAFFLE OF THE CENTURY prize: $100 at Five Leaves

5Leaves_interior dayNot convinced yet that we’ve got the goods for our big swagfest on June 10? If Five Leaves has quickly become one of Brooklyn’s foodies’ favorite spots, it’s not just because the place is hip. Chef Kenneth Addington and his mouth-watering, Australia-born menu might have something to do with it too. But don’t take our word for it. You’ll taste it once you win the $100 gift certificate(!) the Greenpoint eatery has generously pitched in to our birthday raffle.

Perched on the corner of Bedford and Lorimer and just steps from McCarren Park, the “cafe-oysters-bar” is a brunch-must in the summer. Sit outside with a date and people-watch over some ricotta pancakes. Or enjoy the candle-lit nautical theme later on over some oysters and cocktails, while the soothing scratch of old records plays from behind the bar… or just take out your mates to enjoy some beer, Aussie burgers and the notoriously delicious truffle fries.

With $100, you have your options. Just don’t forget to leave your cute server a big tip!

The First Annual Brokelyn Charity Ball will be held June 10 from 7 to 11 at at Night Owl in Williamsburg, 160 N. 4th St. at Bedford Ave.
