What it is: A bricky, woody destination bar that’s one of the biggest reasons under-30s are rediscovering the once-sleepy hamlet of Ditmas Park.
Why we love it: Intimate concert space downstairs, perfect garden in the back and the world’s nicest person selling flowers in front.
Who to bring: All those people who have always wondered about this semi-rural neighborhood but never been.
What to order: Beef jerky, followed by another beer. Repeat.
Sycamore fun fact: The bar also has one of largest American whiskey selections in the five boroughs.
