This weekend there are two: an art crawl in Bushwick, where you’ll see the likes of this elegantly twisted painting from Hannah Mishin (That girl’s on a mission!) along with work presented by 249 other galleries and artists. Brokelyn-approved weekend events
Aquatic animals are the theme for two of this weekend’s offerings (sort of). The New York Aquarium (Surf Ave. at West 8th St.) is having its weekly Donation Friday, when admission is, yes, by donation from 3 p.m. to closing. Or for some Aquatically-themed education of a very different nature (several natures, actually), try out NERD NITE, Friday night at 8:30 at Galapagos Art Space (16 Main St.), where you can take in presentations on Godzilla, Korean pop music and the harp.
