Got a tree (over 5 feet) for 20 bucks yesterday outside the natural food market on Flatbush. All trees were 20 bucks. Last min shoppers like me are getting quite the bargin!

Chelsea Garden center in Red Hook has the absolute best trees, esp the Fraser firs. Unfortunately they are also expensive.

I saw a sign that they are selling trees this year at 5th Avenue and 25th Street, which is the McGovern-Wier Florist. In years past they only sold wreaths and garland, so this is great! Going to check it out on Saturday.

found a couple of options closer to the train including my favorite bodega Triunefel on Court between Carroll and President. they have very cute little potted trees, two kinds (one with decorations that kind of reminds me of the Charlie Brown tree). Also, even though it’s kind of douchetopolis during the warm months, the Gowanus Yacht Club space right at the F/G Carroll street stop has a bunch of trees.

the guys selling trees at the knights of columbus lot on 86th street are major jerks. I grew up in B-hurst and we have been getting our tree there since I was a kid- they are convenient, but they overcharge and are rude as hell.
