The Brooklyn Brew Shop opened last month as part of the Brooklyn Flea, and we sell one gallon all-grain kits for $40. If you end up liking it and want to keep going, it's $12 per bag of grain/hops/yeast, so it comes out to just about $1 per bottle for really tasty beer. Check us out if you're interested Saturdays in Fort Greene and Sundays in Dumbo if you want to make some beer! Good news! I just finished my first batch. Yum! Don't forget, it's also pretty time intensive. Maybe 6 hours of total work, and about 3 weeks of waiting!
