Oh my gosh, as I was mentally preparing my list I realized I splurge on way to many things. However it comes in cycles. For example I used to get mani/pedis and massages after work fairly often. This month it's been cabs. Often it's accessories and recently it's been custom bike parts. Oh and the brooklyn's best brie cheese, but I can't help it because I live right above the gourmet food supply store.

Andrea I agree! The pop tarts at Ted & Honey are delicious. I would love to become a pop tart lush but, at last, I must control the sugar high.

Thankfully everything on their menu is organic, sustainable and make from scratch for those moments when I must indulge.

No worries... when i cant there are so many other things that I can grab from T&H's. :)

Alex: to get rid of aphids, mix together a small amount of liquid dish detergent (1 Tablespoon should work), vegetable oil (again, about a 1 T), and water (a few cups) in a plastic spray bottle. Shake and spray on your plant. You might have to do this several times to rid yourself of the bugs, but it works. When you want to eat your basil, just rinse it under water to get rid of any excess detergent.
